The strategy draws upon the methodology used to build our stock and ETF portfolio strategies: the Fortis Leaders Double Play and Fortis Leaders 50 Stock Strategy.

The stock component invests into large and mid-cap companies we believe to be industry leaders, selected based on technical and fundamental characteristics to create a ranking score at the sector and individual stock level. The discipline of the strategy prescribes that no sector will supersede its percentage allocation of more than 150% of its weighting to the S&P 500. Additionally, target weightings for each of the fifty underlying stock holdings are 2%, never exceeding 5% of the total portfolio value. There is no maximum or minimum stock or cash allocation restriction.

The ETF component gives access to investors seeking to control risk through a dynamic risk conscience approach to investing in the four broad asset allocations of Equities/Fixed Income/Commodities/Cash through ETF Investing. No limitations imposed on the percentage allocation to Equity, Fixed Income, or Cash. Commodity allocation cannot exceed a maximum of 20%
